What’s a Summary Dissolution Divorce? It’s a simplified divorce procedure for married couples and registered domestic partners who have been married less than 5 years, have no children together, don’t own any land or property, don’t owe more than $6,000 in debt, waive their right to spousal support and have less than $41,000 of community property can file for summary dissolution, a simpler easy way of getting divorced.
To begin the process, a joint Petition is completed and signed by both parties, along with a judgment form, a notice of entry of judgment form and property agreement.  Financial information must also be exchanged.
